Bradford Off-Roader Has Bike Seized After Taunting Police With Dangerous Riding

A brazen biker who tore through parks and pavements in Bradford, dangerously riding a motorbike while goading police, had his joyride come to an abrupt end—with a knock at the door.

The incident, shared by the Steerside Enforcement Team on social media, shows the consequences of illegal and anti-social riding, which continues to be a blight on communities across West Yorkshire.

“He must’ve thought he’d pulled it off when he made it home without getting stopped… until there was that little knock at the door,” officers wrote.
“He didn’t fancy a chat then. Bike seized. Reported. That’s a wrap.”

Reckless Riding Through Public Spaces

The rider was spotted weaving through public parks and pavements, putting pedestrians at risk and causing disruption in residential areas. Despite attempts to evade officers, he was identified and tracked down shortly after the ride ended.

The bike was seized by officers, and the rider has been reported for multiple offences, including dangerous and anti-social riding.

A Warning to Others

The Steerside Enforcement Team—part of West Yorkshire Police—regularly shares updates about operations targeting illegal off-road bikers and reckless riders in the region.

“You may get away in the moment,” one officer said, “but that doesn’t mean we won’t find you later. We have the tools, the footage, and the patience.”

Community Reaction

Locals have praised the police action online. One resident commented on X (formerly Twitter): “So glad to see something being done—these bikes are a nightmare in our parks.”

Another added: “It’s not just annoying, it’s dangerous. Hope this sends a message.”

Ongoing Crackdown

West Yorkshire Police continues to urge the public to report off-road and dangerous riding through its Steerside hotline or online reporting system, especially when riders are seen putting others at risk.
