Man Stabbed Near Woolwich Station – Hospitalised but Stable
A 33-year-old man was rushed to hospital following a stabbing just moments after 6pm last Thursday near Woolwich station.

The attack took place at around 6:10pm on April 10 in Parry Place, close to Beresford Street. Emergency services from the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service responded swiftly.
The victim was found at the scene with stab wounds and has been taken to hospital. Police say his injuries are non-life-threatening and non-life-changing.
Police Close Roads, No Arrests Yet
Authorities put up cordons on Beresford Street and Woolwich New Road, though it’s unclear if these are directly linked to the stabbing. The Metropolitan Police have not confirmed any connection between the road closures and the attack.
“Police were called to a report of a stabbing on Parry Place, Woolwich at around 6.11pm on Thursday, 10 April. A 33-year-old man was taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as non-life-threatening or life-changing. No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.”
Call for Witnesses to Speak Up
Officers are urging anyone who saw the incident or has information to contact police on 101, quoting the incident reference. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously via Crimestoppers.
The busy Woolwich station area will see increased police presence as CCTV footage and eyewitness reports are examined.
