Merseyside Police have released a CCTV image of missing man Andrew Murphy, 47, from New Ferry, in a renewed appeal for information regarding his whereabouts.

Andrew was last seen on Saturday, 29 March, and a CCTV still taken from Aldi on Bebington Road shows him on the day he disappeared. Since then, police say they have been conducting extensive enquiries but remain “increasingly concerned” for his welfare.

Description

Andrew is described as:

  • White, approximately 5ft 9in tall
  • Of slim build
  • Cropped brown hair and blue eyes

When last seen, he was wearing:

  • An oversized green Michael Kors waterproof rain mac, down to his knees
  • A blue dressing gown/house coat underneath
  • Blue jeans
  • Black trainers with white soles
  • Carrying a blue Adidas backpack

Appeal for Public Help

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said:

“We’re becoming increasingly concerned for Andrew and urge anyone who saw him on 29 March or has seen him since to contact us immediately. We are keen to ensure he is safe and well.”

Andrew is known to frequent the New Ferry area, and officers are asking the public to remain vigilant and report any sightings.
