Nine Charged After Break-In at Discovery Park Business in Kent

Two people from south east London are among nine individuals charged following a break-in at a business within Discovery Park, a leading science and technology hub in Sandwich, Kent.

The incident occurred around 3.30am on Monday, June 17, 2024, prompting an extensive police investigation. Details about the specific business targeted have not been disclosed by authorities.

Following inquiries, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) authorised charges of violent disorder, criminal damage, and aggravated burglary against the following individuals:

  • Nasser Akhtar, 37, of Spa Hill, Crystal Palace

  • Julija Brigadirova, 32, of Larmuth Avenue, Manchester

  • Elliott Wilson, 25, of Chestnut Grove, Liverpool

  • Maximilian Dixon, 29, of Foxberry Road, Brockley, south east London

  • Nirad Abrol, 25, of St George’s Close, Birmingham

  • Seiriol Davies, 30, of Palmerston Street, Plymouth

  • Xavi Davies, 21, of Stevenson Drive, Binfield

  • Eoin O’Meira, 34, of King Square, Bristol

  • Hannah Davidson, 52, of Calder Gardens, Edinburgh

All nine defendants appeared before Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, May 1, 2025.

The case has been adjourned and will be transferred to the Central Criminal Court (Old Bailey), with the next hearing scheduled for Friday, May 16, 2025.

Authorities have not yet revealed whether the break-in was targeted or opportunistic, and the investigation remains ongoing.
