Murder probe launched after a 26-year-old man was stabbed to death in Kingsbury, North West London. The deadly attack happened in the early hours of Sunday morning, sparking a full-scale investigation.

Fatal Stabbing on Kingsbury Road

Police rushed to Kingsbury Road, NW9, at 3:31am on Sunday 18 May 2025 following reports of a violent altercation. The victim was found with a stab wound and taken to hospital, but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. A formal ID and post-mortem are pending.

Met Police Launch Murder Investigation

The Metropolitan Police confirmed a murder probe is underway, led by Detective Chief Inspector Allam Bhangoo of the Specialist Crime Command.

“Our team of detectives and forensic specialists are working at pace to establish the full circumstances that led to the tragic death of a young man,” said DCI Bhangoo.

“We understand this incident will cause concern within the Kingsbury community, and we’re grateful for their continued patience and co-operation.”

Police warn locals to expect a heightened presence in the area. The crime scene on Kingsbury Road remains cordoned off, with the road closed between Uphill Drive and Church Lane.
