West Midlands Police Hunt Two Suspects After Brutal E-Bike Theft Attempt
West Midlands Police have launched an urgent appeal to identify two suspects linked to a shocking e-bike theft and assault in May Lane, Kings Heath. The incident happened around 3pm on Sunday, 12 May 2025.
Thugs Tried to Steal E-Bike, Then Launched Attack
Police say the pair tried to snatch a man’s e-bike before physically assaulting him. Luckily, quick-thinking members of the public intervened, helping the victim keep hold of his bike.
CCTV Images Released – Can You Spot These Men?
Officers have released CCTV stills in a bid to catch the culprits but have yet to identify them. A police spokesperson admitted the footage isn’t the clearest but remains hopeful the community will recognise the suspects.
“We appreciate these aren’t the clearest images,” a police spokesperson said. “But we’re keen to hear from anyone who may have information that could assist our investigation.”
