Mayfair: Police Launch Investigation into Early Morning Aggravated Burglary

Metropolitan Police have launched an investigation into a suspected aggravated burglary at a commercial premises on Berkeley Square in Mayfair, Central London.

Officers were called to the scene at approximately 04:14am on Monday, 26 May, following reports of a break-in at the property.

Crime Scene in Place, No Arrests Made

A spokesperson for the Met confirmed:

“A crime scene remains in place while initial enquiries are conducted. If you have any information relating to the incident, please contact the Met on 101, quoting reference 1114/26MAY.”

At this time, no arrests have been made and officers continue to carry out forensic examinations and review CCTV footage in the area.

Appeal for Information

Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in or around Berkeley Square during the early hours of Monday morning to come forward. Witnesses or those with dashcam or mobile phone footage are urged to contact the Metropolitan Police or Crimestoppers anonymously.
