A large-scale emergency operation is in full swing on the River Thames tonight (Monday, 2 June) following reports of someone seen in the water close to Chelsea Embankment.
Fire Brigade, Police and Lifeboats Join Hunt
The alarm was raised shortly after 7.30pm, sparking an urgent response from multiple agencies. London Fire Brigade rushed to the scene with a fire boat, while the London Ambulance Service and Metropolitan Police swooped in to assist. The National Police Air Service helicopter also joined the hunt, scanning the river from above.
