Knife Attack Sparks Police Probe
A man was left with multiple stab wounds, including a serious head injury, after a brutal road rage incident in Edgware. The Metropolitan Police rushed to Hamonde Close near the Broadfields Estate at 5:03pm on Thursday, May 29, following reports of the attack.
Stabbing Linked to Earlier Driver Clash
Detectives suspect the stabbing stemmed from an earlier confrontation between two motorists on nearby Bushfield Crescent. Thankfully, the victim’s injuries are not life-threatening, but the violent episode has shaken the local community.
60-Year-Old Arrested as Enquiries Continue
Three days later, on Sunday, June 1, police arrested a 60-year-old man on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH). He has since been released on bail while investigations proceed.
“The stabbing had allegedly occurred following an earlier altercation between two drivers. Enquiries continue, and we urge anyone with information to come forward,” said a Met Police spokesperson.
