ITV Quiz Channel Launches on Freeview Replacing ITVBe – What Viewers Need to Know

A major shake-up has hit UK television this morning as ITV Quiz officially launched on Freeview Channel 28, replacing the now-defunct ITVBe. The new channel promises viewers an all-day lineup of game show favourites, classic quizzes, and exciting new formats.

The change went live at 9am on Sunday, June 9, ending ITVBe’s 11-year run as the home of reality TV content like The Only Way Is Essex and Real Housewives.

What is ITV Quiz?

ITV Quiz is dedicated to broadcasting the very best in quiz and game show content from ITV’s archives and current hits. Viewers can enjoy fan-favourites like:

  • Lingo

  • Wheel of Fortune

  • Tenable

  • Deal or No Deal

  • Who Wants To Be A Millionaire

The channel will operate daily from 9am to 1am, with appearances from beloved presenters including Stephen Mulhern, Graham Norton, Jeremy Clarkson, and Warwick Davis.

An ITV spokesperson said:

“Whether it’s trivia games, picture games, parlour games, general knowledge or simply luck and chance, ITV Quiz has something for everyone — from the devoted trivia buff to the casual quizzer.”

 Do I Need to Retune?

Most modern TVs will update the new channel automatically. However, older Freeview sets may require a manual retune to add ITV Quiz to the TV Guide.
