A fierce fire tore through a caravan and an outbuilding on Dering Way, Gravesend just after 9:20pm, sending thick smoke billowing across the neighbourhood. Locals were warned to keep windows and doors shut to avoid the heavy smoke.

Firefighters Battle Blaze with Three Engines

Kent Fire and Rescue Service rushed three fire engines to the scene. Crews donned breathing apparatus and blasted the flames with main jets, working quickly to bring the fire under control.
