Teen Charged After Double Stabbing at Paddington Park
Shocking Attack in Broad Daylight
A 16-year-old boy has been charged following a double stabbing at Paddington Recreation Ground in West London. The attack happened on Monday, 16 June, just before 2pm. Police rushed to the scene after two teenage boys, aged 15 and 16, were found with stab wounds.
Victims Rushed to Hospital
Emergency services treated and took both victims to hospital. Thankfully, police say their injuries are serious but not life-changing. The Met confirmed no fatalities have occurred.
Teenager Arrested and Charged
“On Tuesday, 17 June, a 16-year-old boy was arrested in connection with the incident. He has been charged with threatening a person with a bladed article in a public place and wounding with intent,” a Metropolitan Police spokesperson said.
The accused is due to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 19 June. Police have not ruled out further arrests as the investigation continues.
