Man and Woman in Their 20s Stabbed in Ilford – Police Hunt Suspect
Double Stabbing Shakes Residential Street
A man and woman in their 20s were rushed to hospital after a shocking double stabbing at a home in Ilford this afternoon. Emergency crews were called to Southbourne Gardens at 2:30pm on Wednesday 23 July, where the victims were found with stab wounds.
Rapid Emergency Response Saves Lives
The Metropolitan Police, London Ambulance Service, and London’s Air Ambulance all scrambled to the scene. Both victims were quickly taken to hospital. Thankfully, their injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing, authorities confirmed.
Suspect Still on the Run as Police Launch Investigation
A crime scene remains in place while police probe the attack. As of Wednesday evening:
- No arrests have been made
- One suspect remains at large
- Officers are carrying out door-to-door enquiries and reviewing local CCTV footage
The motive behind the stabbing is still unknown.
