Gunfire Rocks Denmark Hill at Dawn

Police are hunting for answers after a 21-year-old man was shot outside King’s College Hospital in Denmark Hill just after 2.30am on Wednesday. The London Ambulance Service alerted officers to the scene following reports of a shooting.

Victim Survives with Non-Life Threatening Injuries

Officers found the young man suffering from gunshot wounds and rushed him to hospital.

Thankfully, medics have confirmed his injuries are serious but not life-threatening or life-changing.

Heavy Police Presence and Ongoing Investigation

A large police squad remains on site, patrolling the local area as detectives dig into the shocking incident. The Metropolitan Police urged witnesses to step up and help with the probe.

“Enquiries are ongoing. If you were a witness or have any information which may assist, please call police on 101, quoting reference 545/30Jul,”

said a spokesperson.
