A bus was completely engulfed in flames on the A13 eastbound just before the Wennington Interchange (A1306) this Friday morning. The blaze struck at rush hour, triggering chaos and snarling traffic for miles.
The fire broke out just before 9:15am, forcing the full closure of the eastbound carriageway. Massive tailbacks stretched well past Rainham Marshes, all the way to Ferry Lane.

London Fire Brigade raced to the scene, deploying multiple crews to tackle the ferocious fire. Thankfully, there are no reports of injuries at this stage. The cause of the blaze is currently under investigation.
