Fire Crews Tackle Scrap Yard Fire in Portsmouth

Twenty Firefighters have been called to Tilbury Metals in Farlington this afternoon after a fire broke out at the yard on Old Reservoir Road just after 3.20pm this afternoon. Three Fire crews from Two station Cosham and Southsea are at the blaze attempting to bring it under control.Two further appliances where called upon and a command and control unit was also sent from Portchester. A spokesman for the fire service said that it involved a fire in an area of about 5m by 20m, and that firefighters had surrounded the area. It was out just after 4.20pm. Everybody in the scrapyard was accounted for, and there were no reports of injuries. An ambulance was called as a precautionary measure and police were called in for traffic control. https:///youtu.be/_0y__uwzuEo
