Fire Rips through Aldershot House leaving family homeless

A fire that started in a bathroom at a property has now left a family homeless after it spread this morning leaving their property severely damaged. Three fire crews from Hampshire and Surrey Fire and Rescue were called to the property just after 8.30am in Sycamore Drive Aldershot after it was reported that their where person reported in the fire. Despite best efforts of crews fire crews who were committed into the blaze in breathing apparatus with two hose reel to to tackle the fire, they were unable to stop the spread from the bathroom into the roof space of the property. The cause of the fire is now under investigation by specialists investigations from Surrey Fire and Rescue. The owners for the three bedroom who where in the bedroom escaped injuries after being alerted by a woking smoke alarm in the property. fire fighters managed to stop the fire from spreading to a neighbouring property. Damage internally is said to be severe with most parts of the property being smoke damaged and the upper floor gutted.
