More Drug Raids Shake Portsmouth Streets

Police have stepped up the fight on drugs in Portsmouth with fresh raids today. A 19-year-old London man was snapped up after officers swooped on Copperfield House, Wingfield Street, following a drugs warrant.

Second Raid This Week in Charles Dickens Ward

Inspector Ryan confirmed this is the second crackdown in the Charles Dickens ward in just days. He said, “We’re determined to disrupt this kind of illegal activity and keep our communities safe.”

Community Help Needed to Stop Drug Crime

The police need local eyes and ears. “If we don’t know about it, we can’t act,” Inspector Ryan warned.

If you see drug-dealing or suspect related crime, don’t stay silent:

  • Call 101 for non-emergencies
  • Dial 999 if a crime is happening now
  • Report anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111

Portsmouth police promise to keep the pressure on, but they need the public on their side.
