Two Nabbed in Blitz on Luxury Car Thefts Across London’s Richest Areas
Police have arrested a man and woman suspected of ripping off up to 15 high-end vehicles in posh London neighbourhoods. The duo, caught red-handed in SW6, allegedly used a stolen moped to smash car windows and snatch pricey items like laptops and handbags.
Moped Joyriders Target High-Value Motors
The suspects, a man in his mid-20s and a 19-year-old woman, are accused of hitting luxury cars in Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea, and Westminster between May 29 and June 5. Their police hunt culminated when officers spotted them mounting the stolen moped in south London on June 6 just before 3.15pm.

“Operation Venice continues to identify and bring to justice offenders who steal mopeds and use them to commit crime,” said Sergeant Callum Rodgers. “I am very pleased with these arrests and how the ensuing investigation is progressing. A number of items believed to be stolen have been recovered which will help us further our enquiries.”
This latest arrest marks a win in the fight against rapid moped-enabled thefts plaguing London’s wealthiest streets.
