Driver arrested after Motorcyclist seriously injured in Sellindge collision

Motorcyclist seriously injured in Sellindge collision Officers are appealing for witnesses to a serious injury collision in Sellindge, near Ashford. Kent Police was called at 2.22pm on Saturday 15 June regarding a collision involving a lorry and a motorcycle on Main Road. Officers and medical professionals from the South East Coast Ambulance Service and air ambulance attended the scene where the motorcyclist was treated for serious injuries. He was taken to a local hospital for further medical attention. A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of careless driving and remains in police custody. Officers are working to establish the circumstances of the collision and are urging anyone who saw the lorry or the motorcyclist in the moments leading up to the collision, or who have dashcam footage from the area around the time, to contact them.
