Emergency Services Battle to Save Lives
- Air ambulance and local paramedics rushed to assist the injured.
- Hazardous Area Response Team and Technical Rescue Team from Cleckheaton joined the effort.

- Firefighters are helping extract casualties from the wreckage.
There are five casualties from both vehicles, three of whom are critically injured,” said West Yorkshire Police.
“The M606 remains closed in both directions as emergency crews respond. Road closures will likely last through the night and into the morning. Drivers are urged to avoid the area and find alternate routes.”
