A 17-year-old boy has tragically died after a single-vehicle crash on the M275 in Portsmouth this morning.

Police shut the busy motorway just before 10am following the collision involving a blue Ford Focus. The teenager was the sole occupant of the vehicle and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Officers are scrambling to piece together exactly what caused the crash. They are urging anyone who was driving on the M275 around that time, or who may have captured the moments before the smash on dash cam, to come forward.
