Openreach Engineer Stabbed by 5G Conspiracy Believer in Kilburn

An Openreach engineer was viciously stabbed after a man wrongly thought he was installing 5G in Kilburn. The victim suffered life-changing injuries in the shocking attack.

Late-Night Assault on Quex Road

Police were called at 12:52am on Monday, 6 April, to reports of a man seriously hurt on Quex Road, NW6. Officers found the victim, a man in his 40s, with multiple stab wounds. He was rushed to hospital by London Ambulance Service and has since been discharged.

Suspect Arrested and Charged

The attacker, 24-year-old Mahad Mahamaud, of no fixed address, was arrested later that afternoon. On Tuesday, 7 April, he was charged with Section 18 Grievous Bodily Harm with intent.

Mahamaud is set to appear in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 8 April.
