A 14-year-old girl has been charged with murder after a deadly stabbing in Crawley on Tuesday night, October 27. For legal reasons, her name cannot be revealed.
Victim Stabbed in Chest Dies in Russell Way
The victim, 24-year-old Nimroy Hendricks, was found with fatal stab wounds to his chest in Russell Way, Crawley. Emergency services declared him dead at the scene.
Teen Also Faces Knife Possession Charge
Alongside the murder charge, the teenage girl faces an additional count of possessing a knife in a public place. She is set to appear before Crawley magistrates on Friday afternoon, October 30.

“The circumstances of this case are particularly challenging,” said Detective Chief Inspector Andy Wolstenholme from the Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team. “It is imperative that the Criminal Justice system be allowed to operate without interference. I urge everyone not to speculate on social media about the details, identity, or motives involved, as the defendant’s identity is legally protected.”
