Moped Chase Ends in Arrest After Police Tackle on Fulham Palace Road
Police and paramedics swarmed the junction of Averill Street on Thursday evening, bringing traffic to a standstill as emergency crews dealt with a dramatic moped pursuit.
High-Speed Chase and Police Tackle
Shortly after 5pm on 15 July, officers spotted a moped on Fulham Palace Road, W6, and gave chase. The pursuit ended when a police car used tactical contact to safely stop the moped.
Injuries and Arrest
The moped rider received treatment at the scene from London Ambulance Service paramedics for minor injuries. Sources confirm he was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop, and was taken into custody.
Traffic Chaos on Averill Street
The incident caused blockages at the junction of Averill Street with slow-moving traffic in both directions. Police continue their enquiries into the chase.
