Wellingborough Drug Gang Busted and Banged Up
Four criminals, including gang boss Micah Thomas, 32, have been locked up at Northampton Crown Court for running a ruthless drugs ring and exploiting vulnerable youths in Wellingborough.
Gang’s Dirty Dealing Exposed After Two-Year Probe
The Serious and Organised Crime Team at Northamptonshire Police spent two years cracking down on Thomas and his crew, who operated across Kiln Way and Queensway during 2019-2020.
- Micah Thomas masterminded the supply of kilos of heroin and crack cocaine.
- Brother Marlie Ashby, 27, helped run the operation.
- Twvarni Riviere, 20, and Jahmani Mitchell, 19, got caught up in various drugs and modern slavery offences.
- The gang even used local kids to push their poison on the streets.
Detective Praises Community Bravery
“I am really pleased with the sentences handed out. The investigation was tough and demanding,” said Detective Constable James Roe. “These sentences reflect the seriousness of the offences and their damaging impact on Wellingborough. I want to thank those brave members of the public who stood up and gave evidence against this gang.”
This case is a warning to all drug dealers exploiting communities and vulnerable children — the long arm of the law is watching. Northamptonshire Police have made sure these villains will be behind bars for some time.
