Range Rover Blaze Sparks Chaos on North Circular
A black Range Rover burst into flames on the Southend Road (North Circular Road) westbound between High Road and Woodford New Road on Wednesday evening. The fiery incident, believed to have been caused by an electrical fault, ignited just after 5.20pm.

Traffic came to a standstill briefly while emergency teams secured the scene. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported.
Firefighters Battle Blaze Using Breathing Gear and Hose
Firefighters from the 1 Fire Brigade were quick to respond. They tackled the blaze using two breathing apparatus sets and a hose reel to bring the fire under control.
Road Surface Damaged After Heat of the Fire
The intense heat caused damage to part of the road surface, adding to the disruption on the busy westbound route.
