Four Men Killed in Tragic Kent Crash

Four men died instantly in a horror crash on Lenham Road, Kent. Police spent over 12 hours investigating the scene. Meanwhile, a 15-year-old boy remains in critical condition in a London hospital with brain swelling.

The Victims: Names and Heartbreak

The dead have been named locally as Johnny Cash, 44, ‘Smiler’ Cash, 25, Johnboy Cash, 19, and Jacko Cosgrove, 18. All lived within 200 yards of the crash site.

  • Jacko, the youngest, was a proud member of Tenterden Amateur Boxing Club. He recently learned his wife was expecting their child.
  • Johnboy leaves behind a six-week-old baby daughter. His wife Grace, married just over two years, laid white roses at the crash scene. She said, “I have to try and stay strong for my little girl. I am still trying to work out what has happened.”

On Their Way to Watch Gypsy King Fight

The group had been heading to watch the heavyweight clash between Tyson ‘Gypsy King’ Fury and Deontay Wilder. A close relative revealed foggy conditions played a role in the crash just before 1am. They were returning home with their wives when the tragedy struck.

Community in Mourning

Family and friends are devastated. A relative said, “They were all lovely men. It is so sad. So many lives lost at once. It has shattered wives, kids, brothers, cousins. They will never get over this.”

An aunt added, “They were hardworking, well-liked working-class people. We are all gutted. I keep thinking this is a bad dream and I’m going to wake up.”

Crash Details and Appeal

The wrecked bronze Toyota Hi-Lux lost control near Headcorn in the early hours of Sunday. The vehicle was towed away by early afternoon.
