Heartfelt Tributes Pour In for Michael Ugwa
“Michael was a kind man with a large personality and an even larger heart. He was special to many and is deeply missed,” said his mother. “He inspired his children, cousins, nieces and nephews by always striving for a better tomorrow. From helping homeless family members to supporting his loved ones through tough times, Michael was the rock everyone counted on.” “He was a loving partner, a devoted father to three children, a caring brother, and a steadfast friend. Our hearts are shattered with grief, but we trust God to grant us peace and strength.” “We ask for privacy as we mourn this cruel loss. Thank you to everyone who has sent condolences during this painful time.”
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Chief Inspector Ashley Howard, leading the investigation, said,
“Our investigation is ongoing. We believe the attack was targeted and there is no wider threat to shoppers or visitors at Lakeside.” “We urge anyone with information who hasn’t come forward to contact police immediately.”
