Rush Hour Stabbing Shocks Anerley Station

Police rushed to Anerley station in SE20 at 4pm on Monday after reports of a stabbing on Platform One. A man in his 20s was stabbed and collapsed in front of shocked passengers during the busy rush hour.

Emergency Teams Treat Victim Onsite

Officers from the British Transport Police and the Met Police provided first aid before the London Ambulance Service arrived. The victim was quickly taken to a south London hospital. His condition remains unknown at this early stage.

No Arrests Yet as Crime Scene Holds

Police have launched an investigation with a crime scene cordoned off at Anerley station. So far, no arrests have been made. Officers are appealing for witnesses as inquiries continue.

Met Police spokesman: “Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended. A man in his 20s has been taken to a south London hospital. We await further updates on his condition.”
