Teenager Stabbed in Shocking Bersted Attack

A 16-year-old boy is fighting for recovery in hospital after being stabbed in a violent assault on Frandor Road, Bersted, near Bognor Regis on Monday night (24 February).

Emergency teams were called to the scene at around 7:35pm. They found the teen with serious stab wounds and rushed him to hospital. Police confirm he’s now in a stable condition, but the investigation is far from over.

Two Teens Arrested Over Attack

Sussex Police have arrested two teenage boys from Bognor Regis — a 16-year-old and a 14-year-old. Both are held on suspicion of attempted murder and are in custody as detectives dig deeper.

Police Hunt for Witnesses and CCTV

Frandor Road remains a hot crime scene, with a strong police presence carrying out house-to-house enquiries. Officers are combing through CCTV and dashcam footage from the area between 7:00pm and 8:00pm on the night of the attack.

Chief Inspector Will Keating-Jones of Chichester and Arun District told the community:

“This is a fast-moving investigation, and we are working hard to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident. We understand that the community will be deeply concerned, but I want to reassure residents that we are doing everything possible to ensure their safety.”
