Three Stolen Bikes Recovered After Early Morning Arrests in Bristol

At around 2.45am on May 28, thieves struck on Cook Road, swiping three motorbikes. But the crooks’ joyride hit a dead end shortly after. Police stopped a vehicle at 3.30am and arrested three suspects.

Two Men Charged, Third Released

  • Jordan Walters, 21, of Sylvan Way, Bristol, and George Gillard, 21, of no fixed address, Bristol, have been charged with burglary.
  • Both were remanded to appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court and will face Swindon Crown Court on July 1.
  • An 18-year-old Bristol man arrested too has been released pending further enquiries.

Police Warn Sellers to Stay Sharp Online

All three stolen bikes have been recovered and returned to their owner. Wiltshire Police have issued a warning for online sellers, urging caution when sharing personal details. They said:

“Selling online is convenient, but potential buyers or people claiming to be interested in your items may not be as genuine as they initially seem.”

They urged residents to be extra vigilant, especially about disclosing addresses, after a string of thefts targeting sellers.
