Suspect Charged After Early Morning Break-In

Police have charged a man following a burglary at a mini golf club in Nottingham’s George Street. Officers were called out in the early hours of Monday, 5 December 2022, after reports that money and alcohol were stolen.

Operation Reacher Cracks Case

The City Centre Neighbourhood Policing Team launched an immediate investigation. The city’s Operation Reacher squad later arrested Samuel Slater, from Grierson Avenue, Bestwood. He now faces burglary charges and is set to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on 6 December.

“Incidents of this nature can have a very considerable impact on local businesses and are always thoroughly investigated by Nottinghamshire Police. I am pleased we have now been able to charge a suspect in this case,” said Sergeant Louise Ellis, head of the Reacher team.
