Paedophile Stephen Kidd Hits Sex Offenders Register
Stephen Kidd, from Peterculter, has been officially placed on the Sex Offenders Register. He faces sentencing at a later hearing.
Brutal Abuse Spanning 15 Years
Detective Inspector Gordon Patullo revealed Kidd subjected one victim to sexual and physical assaults over a shocking 15-year period. The predator has shown no remorse for his vile actions.
“Our thoughts are very much with Kidd’s victims and I hope this verdict brings them some kind of closure and helps them to move forward. I commend them all for their bravery in coming forward,” said Patullo.
Police Urge More Victims to Come Forward
Detective Inspector Patullo added: “Police Scotland is committed to supporting victims of sexual crimes and takes all reports seriously with the aim of bringing those responsible to justice.”
He urged anyone affected, no matter how long ago the abuse happened, to step forward and report crimes: “I would urge anyone who wishes to report a sexual crime, no matter how long ago, to contact us.”
