Flasher on the Loose Near Foremark Reservoir
There have been three shocking incidents of indecent exposure reported in just 10 days around the quiet rural spots near Foremark Reservoir, Hartshorne, and Repton.
Latest Incident: Woman Confronted at Repton
The most recent episode happened between 3.50pm and 4pm on Monday, December 26. A woman in her 30s was walking through a field off Mill Hill in Repton when a man standing by a gate exposed himself. He then sprinted towards Mount Pleasant Road and vanished.
Two More Reports from December 21
- Near Foremark Reservoir, a woman in her 30s reported a man jogging past her before stopping, then exposing himself as she walked by.
- In Hartshorne, a 16-year-old girl saw a man expose himself as she rode past on her horse on Brook Street, close to Greysich Lane.
The Man Police Want to Find
Officers describe the suspect as:
- White, around 6ft tall
- Slim build
- Late 30s to 40s
- Short, dark brown hair
- Wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts, and running trainers
Investigations are ongoing, with police urging witnesses or anyone with info to step forward.
“We take these incidents very seriously and are doing all we can to trace the man involved,” said Safer Neighbourhood Team Sergeant Tarj Nizzer.
“Patrols are being increased. If this has happened to you, witnessed suspicious behaviour, or have any relevant information, please contact us.”
“Do not approach anyone acting suspiciously. Stay safe and report it immediately with as much detail as you can.”
