Emergency services have been called to Thorntree Road Charlton following a police pursuit that has ended with those involved becoming trapped within the vehicle.
The cars collided at the junction with Wolfe Cresent at around 1pm on Wednesday.
Fire crews and Paramedics have been called to the incident and road closures have been put in place.
TFL have advised due to the road is closed in both directions at the junction with Wolfe Crescent bus route 340 has been affected and has been put on divert

A Spokesman for the Met Police said :
At 12:51pm on Wednesday, 18 January, officers in a marked patrol car attempted to stop a suspect stolen car in Woolwich. The driver failed to stop and a pursuit was authorised.
A short time later, at 12:56pm the car was involved in a collision at the junction of Wolfe Crescent and Thorntree Road. Three men, who had been inside the car, were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.
Two of the men were taken to hospital. Their injuries were assessed as not life-threatening and they have since been discharged to custody.
The road was closed while officers arranged for the car to be recovered and re-opened at around 14:20hrs. Enquiries are ongoing.
