Fatal Crash Shocks Thamesmead Early Friday
At 5.15am on Friday, 17 February, chaos erupted on Eastern Way, Thamesmead, after a car smashed into a male pedestrian near Yarnton Avenue.
Tragic Scene on Eastern Way
Emergency crews, including police and the London Ambulance Service, rushed to the scene. Sadly, the unidentified man was pronounced dead on site.
Driver Stops, No Arrests Yet
The motorist pulled over immediately. Police confirmed there have been no arrests so far as the investigation remains open and ongoing.
