Tragic Blaze Claims Life of Bright Teen in Newham
The family of 15-year-old Tiffany Regis, who died in a devastating house fire in Newham last Thursday (April 6), have paid a moving tribute to their “blessing from God.” Tiffany was pronounced dead at the scene after a blaze tore through a block of flats on 123 Beckton Road.
Described by loved ones as a “bright” young girl “taken away too soon,” Tiffany’s family has launched a fundraiser in her memory. The GoFundMe page has already raised £4,420 in donations from a supportive public. “In loving memory of Tiffany, our angel. Please help us send off our baby,” the page reads.
Arson Probe Underway as Specialist Crime Command Leads Investigation
Tiffany’s mother, Roni, alongside emergency services, is treating the fire as a suspected arson. The Specialist Crime Command has taken over the investigation. A safety cordon remains at the Beckton address while detectives comb the scene for clues.
