Predator Abdul Khan caught after targeting two women at the same Birmingham spot
Abdul Khan preyed on two women nearly three years apart, taking them both to the same grim location in Ward End, Birmingham, where he carried out horrific sex attacks.
Police Close In After Second Attack
After the latest offence in September 2022, cops moved fast. Evidence gathered put Khan in the frame for a rape back in October 2019 – before the second crime even happened.
‘Chilling’ Lure Ends in Brutal Rape
In the most recent attack, Khan picked up a woman claiming they’d just “chill”. Instead, he drove her to a property where he violently raped her. CCTV footage tracked the car back to Khan, revealing it was the same spot as the first attack.
The first victim met Khan at a club, only to regain consciousness later in his vehicle. Their courageous testimonies and police evidence sealed Khan’s fate with two rape charges.
Justice Served – Khan Faces Sentence
The 27-year-old from Raymond Street, Birmingham, was found guilty at Birmingham Crown Court. He is now behind bars, awaiting sentencing on 12 June.
DC Martin Powell of West Midlands Police’s public protection unit said: “These were truly traumatic experiences for these two women. They were forced to engage in sexual activity with Khan against their will. It’s due to their bravery in coming forward we were able to convict Khan for both offences and he is now off the streets and behind bars ahead of being sentenced.”
