County Lines Drug Dealer Jailed for Six Years in Merseyside Crackdown

Christopher Flynn, 35, from Woolfall Heath Avenue, Huyton, has been slammed with a hefty six-year prison sentence. The Liverpool Crown Court judge heard how Flynn was deeply involved in the supply of Class A drugs, namely crack cocaine and heroin, as part of a notorious County Lines drug operation.

Operation Toxic Cracks Down on “Scouse Jay Jay” Line

Flynn’s capture followed a painstaking probe by Operation Toxic, under Merseyside Police’s Project Medusa – a force-wide campaign targeting County Lines dealers and child exploitation. The investigation tied Flynn to the infamous “Scouse Jay Jay” distribution network that pumped drugs into Chorley, Lancashire.

Police Raid Leads to Arrest and Conviction

  • In February 2023, officers swooped on Flynn’s Huyton home.
  • He was arrested during the raid and later charged with drug supply offences.
  • Detective Inspector Gary Stratton hailed the conviction as a major victory.

The six-year sentence sends a clear message: County Lines drug dealers will face tough justice. Merseyside Police continue to hunt down offenders to protect communities from the scourge of drug crime.
