Second Man Charged in Jack Hague Murder Probe
A second suspect has been charged in connection with the murder of Jack Hague in Tower Hamlets.
New Arrest Made
Umair Rafiq, 35, with no fixed address, was arrested on Sunday, 12 May. He is charged with Jack’s murder and will appear in custody at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 13 May.
First Suspect Also Charged
Earlier, Mohammed Ikram Uddin, 24, also with no fixed address, was charged on Friday, 10 May. He will appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, 14 May.
Tragic Stabbing on Corfield Street
Police launched a murder investigation after being called to a fight on Corfield Street, E2, at about 8.20pm on Sunday, 5 May. Officers found 38-year-old Jack Hague with a stab wound.
Despite desperate efforts from police and London Ambulance Service paramedics, Jack sadly died at the scene.

Jack’s family have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers.
