Grimsby’s annual Fireman’s Fete has pulled in a smashing £3,000 for St Andrew’s Hospice, raising smiles and cash in equal measure.

Thousands Turn Out for Fun and Fundraising

The summer event, packed with family fun and live demos, attracted over 5,000 visitors. From charity stalls to thrilling displays, the fete was buzzing all day long.

Guy Martin’s Frozen Dip Sends Donations Soaring

Local legend Guy Martin stole the show by plunging into icy waters to ramp up donations. His chilly stunt helped push total funds raised beyond £14,500, with the money split between several local charities.

“We’re absolutely thrilled with the turnout and the amount raised. The support from the local community was overwhelming, and having Guy Martin with us really helped make the day one to remember,” said Steve Maloney, Watch Manager and fete organiser.

“A massive thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, or contributed in any way, we couldn’t have done it without you.”
