Guy Martin’s Icy Plunge Sends Donations Skyrocketing
Local hero Guy Martin stole the spotlight by braving a frozen dip, sending donations soaring. His chilling stunt helped push the total raised to over £14,500 — all shared among several local charities.
“We’re absolutely thrilled with the turnout and the amount raised. The support from the local community was overwhelming, and having Guy Martin with us really helped make the day one to remember,” said Steve Maloney, Watch Manager and fete organiser.
“A massive thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, or contributed in any way, we couldn’t have done it without you.”
