A pedestrian in his 20s is fighting for his life after a hit-and-run on Fletchamstead Highway, Coventry. The driver sped off after the collision at around 7.55pm yesterday, leaving the victim critically injured.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene, treating the man before rushing him to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police are now urgently trying to track down the driver and vehicle involved.
