Medvedev’s Dire Warning: “WW3 Could Start Any Moment”
Senior Russian heavyweight Dmitry Medvedev has dropped a chilling bombshell, warning the world that a third world war could ignite at any second. Speaking to state media TASS, the ex-Russian president and current deputy chairman of Moscow’s security council said any nuclear showdown would eclipse the horrors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Medvedev blasted former US President Donald Trump for authorising strikes on Iran, calling it a “gross mistake” that put all Americans at risk. “By his decision, he put all Americans under potential attack,” Medvedev said, highlighting Iran’s spiritual leader Khamenei as a martyr to around 300 million Shia Muslims worldwide.
“Formally, no [WW3 hasn’t started], but if Trump continues his insane course… it will undoubtedly begin. Any event could be the trigger. Any event.” – Dmitry Medvedev
Russia Threatens Nuclear Retaliation: Hiroshima Would Look Like Child’s Play
Medvedev made it clear that Russia’s massive nuclear arsenal remains a brutal deterrent to a global conflict. He warned, “Hiroshima and Nagasaki will be child’s play in the sandbox” if a nuclear war erupts. The Kremlin figure claimed the US fears Russia, but blamed “hardcore idiots and clinical bastards” in Western leadership for inflaming tensions.
Regarding Iran’s calm military response to US strikes, Medvedev urged caution. “The Iranians haven’t responded seriously yet because they don’t have many options, but they know how to wait — this is an ancient civilisation,” he said. He also predicted the assassination of Khamenei would push Iran to race for nuclear weapons “with redoubled energy.”
Putin and Allies Slam US-Israeli Strikes
President Vladimir Putin piled on, condemning the strikes as a “cynical violation” of international law and morality. Putin expressed condolences over the deaths of Khamenei and family members, joining China and North Korea in publicly opposing the US-Israeli attacks.
On another front, Medvedev stressed Moscow’s focus remains on victory in Ukraine, brushing off peace talks as secondary.
