A 28-year-old woman has been arrested following the discovery of a man’s body in a Tamworth train station car park in the early hours.
Man Found Dead in Early Morning Horror
Staffordshire Police were called to Victoria Road around 2.20am after reports that a man was found unresponsive in the station car park. Paramedics attended the scene, but sadly, the man was pronounced dead.
Woman in Custody as Forensics Investigate
The 28-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and remains in custody. Officers continue to conduct a forensic examination of the area as British Transport Police take the lead in the investigation due to the location.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Inspector Marvin Bruno said: “Our specialist family liaison officers are providing support to the victim’s family and our thoughts remain with them at this time.
“We are urging anyone with any information or anyone who witnessed events leading up to the man’s death to get in touch with us.”
