West Midlands Police have charged three people with murder after the grim discovery of Thomas Niven’s body in Coventry.

Thomas Niven was found dead inside a wheelie bin at a park off Daimler Road earlier this week. In a swift investigation, officers arrested Tammy Sturdy, 45, Camron Sturdy, 21, and Shane Turkington, 37 — all from Coventry.

The trio has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Coventry Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Police say specially trained officers are supporting Thomas’s family during this tragic time. They’re urging anyone with information who hasn’t come forward yet to contact them on 101, quoting incident number 4148 of 13 March.
