Predators target teen in Brixton pub
Nigerian nationals Fred Akinsanya, 34, and Daniel Raji, 29, have been handed a combined 21-year prison sentence for raping a 15-year-old girl. The pair plied the schoolgirl with alcohol and drugs at Paddy’s Yard, an Irish pub in south London’s Brixton, on February 8 last year.
Victim lured back to flat for drug-fuelled attack
After buying her drinks, Akinsanya and Raji invited the girl and her friends to Raji’s flat to smoke cannabis and dance. Her friends soon felt uneasy and urged her to leave. But the victim began blacking out and then collapsed, the Inner London Crown Court heard.
Horrific ordeal caught on camera
The defendants subjected the girl to a harrowing assault while Raji filmed the abuse. The victim later told the court she now struggles to trust people, according to prosecutor Diana Wilson.

- Akinsanya, from South Croydon, denied the charges but was found guilty of rape and jailed for 10 years.
- Raji, from Brixton, was convicted of two counts of rape and taking an indecent image of a child. He was sentenced to 11 years behind bars.
