A creep who sexually assaulted women across London’s transport network has finally been convicted. Craig Anderson, 38, struck fear into women at Bank, Liverpool Street, Westminster stations and even as far as Redhill in Surrey. His vile rampage went on for months last year.
Predator Caught on CCTV Grinning at Bank Station
Anderson was caught on camera pushing through ticket barriers at Bank station on June 14, smirking as he hunted for lone victims. In court, chilling details emerged of how he laughed while one terrified woman screamed and broke down in tears during an assault.
Multiple Sexual Assaults and Shocking Stalking Behaviour
- Convicted of four sexual assaults between June 26 and October 3
- Groped a woman on a staircase and made unwanted advances on a train to Gatwick
- Ignored warnings and tried to kiss a passenger despite threats of being reported
- Stalked another woman relentlessly, bombarding her from eight different phone numbers
- Sent explicit images without consent and tried to play off his actions as “playful”
Defiant in Court Despite Guilty Verdict
After the jury found him guilty of sexual assault and stalking, causing serious alarm or distress, Anderson shouted from the dock: “I can do what I want about girls.” The Westminster Magistrates’ Court heard how his sick behaviour left multiple women traumatised and terrified during the summer and autumn months.
This verdict sends a clear message – predators like Anderson will be held to account. London women deserve safe journeys without fear of harassment or worse.
