Kyle Chisholm, 27, from Hilperton, has been locked up for over four years after terrifying a woman with relentless stalking and a brutal suffocation attack.

Chilling Campaign of Threats and Violence

The horrors unfolded between December 2023 and November 2025. Chisholm bombarded the victim with threatening messages, warning he would kill her, harm her children, and even target her pets. His campaign of terror included disabling her doorbell camera and slashing the tyres of her car. The nightmare peaked when he pinned a pillow over the woman’s face, threatening to end her life.

Victim Speaks Out: “I Hate My Phone Going Off”

“I have avoided texts from my loved ones, as I don’t like my phone anymore, I hate my phone going off, every time it’s a reminder of what I had to put up with. I spend a big portion of my day thinking about what is going through his mind, for example if he is thinking about me or how obsessed is with the thought of hurting me again. It consumes my thoughts and it destroys my energy and capacity to want to do anything productive or leave the house.”

Police Crackdown and Court Sentence

Swindon Crown Court handed Chisholm a four-year and two-month sentence on April 9 after he pleaded guilty to stalking and intentional suffocation. An indefinite restraining order was also slapped on him to protect the victim. Local Crime Investigator Ben Hillier slammed the offender’s actions, calling them “controlling, dangerous and wholly unacceptable.” He praised the victim’s courage and vowed that Wiltshire Police will continue to battle stalking and violence against women.
